Sounds Like: Labour In Vain are so hot tonight they may as well be covering us all in baby oil and hosting an orgy. LIV have a big, big sound; a dirtier Chili Peppers with a rock edge and some serious sex beats full of driving energy and seductive melodies. LIV are a band that work as one entity and make it look easy, these are early days but the future looks very bright.

Vanity Project Issue 15 (June 2005)
`Labour In Vain might as well have been making love to each other for all the throbbing and sex beats that were aimed at us. LIV laid down rousing rock with a sexy undercurrent - a dirtier, rockier Chili Peppers if you want, covered in oil and sweat, demanding you watch their sordid show.
