We don't believe in pigeonholes or small boxes :)

About Me

.. Myspace Layout Generator-Layoutgen.com
.. We are just getting started so please bear with us!! We are under construction! The Eternal Circle Music page has been created by people who LOVE music. We live it, breathe it, drink whiskey with it and act like crazy fools around it. That's right, crazy fools who love music. We are called Eternal Circle because we've realised that everything goes round in circles, everything comes back to see you once again later in life and things always complete themselves. Plus, its a song by one of our heroes, Mr Bob Dylan, so that all worked out pretty nicely.Basically we want this to be a place where we can show off what WE think is the greatest unsigned or independent music in the world. Drawing on 14 years experience in the music world, we figured it was finally time to put all our experience eggs in one basket and see if we could come up with more than just an omelette. We do not MANAGE or A&R the musicians on this page. They are not on our LABEL and have in no way signed their SOULS over to us. We don't sleep with them, do raindances with them, wash their socks or even - gasp - we don't even play POKER with them. Yet. But we HAVE invited them here in the hope that we might be able to draw more attention to their music and we do this for no fee or bribery (apart from maybe the odd whiskey!) - we are doing it because we LOVE music and we LOVE all the artists we have invited here. We just want everyone else to have a chance to hear the music that we love, which they might not otherwise come across. The music industry is changing so much and there has never been a greater way for artists to reach so many people - the internet is a brilliant way to find new music and if just even one person out there likes the artists on our page, then we're getting somewhere. We are also hoping that we can proceed with the work that the late, and wonderful Mr John Peel began. The process of finding and enjoying great music. We hope that you enjoy the music on here - please feel free to recommend anyone, and please do visit the artists' own My Space pages and add them if you like them. We are merely the humble middlemen! We do not only like one kind of music and we do not like putting people in little musical boxes. No matter if you are death metal, country, drum and bass or even a woodlouse playing a harmonica, we will happily add you if you not already signed to a major label and are what we like :)We will endeavour to rotate songs and artists, and also provide as much info on tour dates and music releases as possible. Any suggestions are also always appreciated :)Thanks so much for reading and welcome to the music that we love. We hope that you enjoy it.Big love Eternal Circle Music xxxp.s If you ARE a woodlouse playing a harmonica, we'd love to see a picture of that

Influences: John PeelWe are also influenced by some wonderful people we have met, heard, seen and loved along the journey, who have kept us at our musical roots. In no particular order, we thank Mike Wood & The Acoustic Coyotes, Art Herman, Sancho, The Bee Hatchers, Thirst, The Milltown Brothers, The Rufus Show, The Marbles, Palomino, Flower Drum, Grenville's Gang, LK, EMF, Terrorvision, Twitch, Ben Mitchell for his purple turtles, Tom McRae, The Blues Brothers, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam and The Blues Bar, Soho. We especially thank our special friends (you know precisely who you are) for letting us drag you to so many gigs by unknown bands over the past 16 years and our follks for getting us into great music as little nippers. We would also like to extend a big whiskey flavoured thank you to Brian Wright, Joe Purdy and their gentle L.A friends who have, without knowing, given us a whopping great kick up the ass to do this thing at last.
Sounds Like: We say:LABOUR IN VAIN: “Labour In Vain are a head-on collision of dirty guitars, hurt words and raging hormones. Whatever they are on, we want some of it. In the meantime, we’ll settle for another of their live shows”THE VENUS GUNS: "The thing we like about The Venus Guns is that they dont pretend to be anything other than what they are-a bunch of guys who just love playing music together. There is no strut, no pretence just some great songs played by some East End boys with big gusto. Buckcherry meets Free. Awesome!"BRIAN WRIGHT & THE WACO TRAGEDIES: "Very rarely does a new album come along that sounds like an undiscovered classic. Dog Ears is the album you always kept in pristine condition on your record pile, the record you were sure to include on a special tape for new girlfriends. If you want music to warm your soul then Brian Wright & The Waco Tragedies are just what the Doctor ordered. Honest, homegrown melodies, and true stories that will leave you curious to the end of the album. Earle and Dylan should be watching their backs!"
