Sidelined, consisting of Ali Brown and Sean Boswell, was formed in early 2001 over a drunken conversation aboout cheese buns, bread sticks and music.
Confined to the constraints of front room recording and tied to the monotony of desk jobs, their music here is the plea of the trapped artist to the listening world.
Sidelined write honest, entertaining and occasionally humourous guitar driven songs and boast a varied portfolio of original music. "Beat me" screams of summer thunderstorms and Sunday afternoons, "Thread in my Pocket" is the last cry of the man who can't be without the thing he loves, and hates, most. "Skindeep" is an ode to those most magical or things - beer goggles, and "Trip and Fall" a day in the life of the unnoticed.
