Lonesome Night

Lonesome Night started in the early spring of 2005., as a project created by Stojan Sukunda, whom Nikola Pacek-Vetnic, Marko Vesovic, Todor Zurzovan and Djordje Markovic later joined. The main idea was to make unique music, distinctive in rhythm and harmony, as well as lyrics, that felt right for everyone, all the time...
Although a struggle to keep the songs from flying over the top is ever present, we are always striving to find the best possible way to present our ideas and views to the audience. Diverse backgrounds of the musicians behind Lonesome Night, open-mindedness to all musical genres, as well as the equal involvement of all of the band members in the creation process is the main driving force behind the music that we are trying to create.
After the line-up changes that occurred in August 2007., we began composing our first album, a work that would define the path the band is about to take in near future. During the September of the same year, album was completed under the work-title "A Night in Lonesome October", and two songs, "Et Lux Perpetua..." and "Baleful Reverie" were hastily produced to give you a glimpse of our new sound. The first half of 2008. was marked by few more changes in the line-up, the ones we hope are the last. Band has just finished producing it's first demo recording, and is now rehearsing for the first live show which is planned to take place some time this year.
