DAD & BURIED

Minimal Country aus Bremen

About Me

BURIED ALIVE (guit, bass, voc) and DAD HORSE OTTN (banjo, bass, voc) first met in 1990 at ante-natal classes in Bremen. During the next few years they discovered their voices were very well matched while attending parents evenings. They also found a common taste for clear and precise words. In 2003 these talents were combined into a country style duo with an international repertoire. DAD & BURIED were born at last. Extensive touring from Hamburg to Paderborn shaved them the way. Their style evolved into a finely tuned free simplicity. Both cover versions and own compositions demonstrate originality, humour and a serious deep understanding of human frailty and emptiness. How about that?
