Beginning
Muse for Meredith was formed in 2006 by Volador (music, instruments) and Eve (vocals, lyrics). Eve and Volador got to know each other years ago at an undergound party, and since then were bound by friendship and various musical collaborations. The Band's Name "Muse for Meredith" uprose from Eves fascination for the Old Welsh name "Meredith"("protector of the sea"), and Voladors incidental remark that he had "muse to work on this project". So "Muse for Meredith" was born.
Vision
Muse for Meredith merges Voladors touching sound scapes with Eves crystal voice, adds profoundness through its lyrics, and creates a vision of darkness and light to guide the listener deeper towards the ideas and emotions that stand behind the music.
Way
Muse for Meredith is still standing at the beginning of its story. Eve and Volador decided to first record all songs as demo versions and to put them on hold, until enough demos have aggregated to choose the best and re-record them for a full debut album. Playgrounds
Muse for Meredith is only one of Eve's and Volador's various playgrounds. Volador for example also maintains his ambient project "NagualArt", and was furthermore involved in the Band "Antropophobia" and another Solo project called "Wither".
Eve is singer of the Dark Rock Band "Shizuko" and guest vocalist for various projects, like the Gothic Rock Band "Rozencrantz".
