Velvet Eden was originally a Dark Wave, Visual Kei Band, formed in 1998 with a two member line up, Dada (Vocal), Kalm (Key, Programer)
Dada
His as in music began with Pride of Mind, one of the first japanese bands to use techno beats and dark lyrics, which gave way to may more in the future.
Later he joined the band E-Typ, as a vocalist, which didn't last long, before he decided to create his own project.
Dada can simply be summerize as a Darg queen with an exceptional voice. He is some one I personally admire very much.
His style and as well as his voice launched Velvet Eden into the public and gain much popularity.
Dada also model for the Gothic Lolita Bible by the line arachnophoia.
Kalm
A wonderful man, his music as amazing as his style
Unfortunetly I dont have much information on him and previous history.
Kalm letf Velvet Eden in 2000 to pursue different asperations.
He has been writing music for various artist.
Currently, Kalm is working with Kaya as the writer of the music for his two new singles on launch on Kaya's solo career, Kaleidoscope and Masquerade.
The New Velvet Eden
After Kalms departure, Dada recruited four new member which let Velvet Eden to acquire a more rock sound.
* Hora (Keyboard)
* Masahiro (Guitar)
* Abe (Drums)
* R.Y.O. (Bass)
By this point the band was very popular.
Unfortunetly, after the realesed odf the single Sute Neko, Hora left the band to join Kaya to form Rudolf Steiner, and later Schwarz Stein.
Soon the rest of the members follow, and Dada recruited three new members, Bera, Mimi and Lem, but not for long.
The band drastically changed after Dada left, when he decided not to attend one of their live preformances.
The remaining members went on but change their name to "The Velvet"
Current Status
Currently it is said that Dada is drawing a Manga.
Has previously said Kalm is making music for Kaya and other artist
The Velvet Carried out their work with Reina as Vocal, but their has been no updates or realeses for quite a while.
