Keith Shocklee is listed as one of the greatest producers of the rap world, appearing on The Rolling Stone Magazines’ “500 Greatest Albums of All Time” with “It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back” as well as The Rolling Stone Magazines’ “500 Greatest Songs of All Time” with “Bring The Noize” and “Fight The Power”.Most recently he Executive Produced Xzibit’s latest album released on Open Bar Entertainment/Koch Records entitled “Full Circle”. He has also produced successful albums for Public Enemy, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Bell, Biv, DeVoe and Third Bass as well as remixing albums for Janet Jackson, Run DMC, Sinead O’Conner, Peter Gabriel, The Neville Brothers, Paula Abdul and Ziggy Marley just to name a few.He has also been a part of major motion picture soundtrack success for movies such as Spike Lee’s “Do The Right Thing” and “He’s Got Game” as well as the all-time favorite “Juice”.He has also contributed to the network arena by scoring ad campaigns for “Nike” featuring Charles Barkley and “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” featuring KRS-One.Based out of Studio 251 in New York City, he is managed by Kim Jackson who can be reached via myspace.com/kijacks.com or [email protected].
