Sarah Mk's passion for music has been undeniable since an early age. She use to be that girl singing up in her room every night to her favorite songs until she finally decided to step her game up and apply in the music program at Vanier College in 2005. She is currently ending her last semester in the jazz voice program and plans to take a year off to concentrate on her career outside of school.
Her style is a blend of R&B, Jazz and Hip hop. Most of her songs are her own compositions and she wishes to one day write and produce for other artists. Yet, Sarah Mk's heart belongs on the scene and she is working hard to achieve a career as a professional performer/musician.
She is also a formally trained Hip hop dancer and use to be part of Urban Element's RAW crew (choreographed by Alexandra Landé and Angelo Ameur). She also participated in many Hip Hop Freestyle battles around the Montreal area.
Presently, Sarah Mk is working as a backvocalist for Gnee (see in top friends), is lead singer for the Vanier Stage Band and performs her own songs at different shows with her crew consisting of Micah Johnston on drums, Zach Frampton on keys, Jason Johnston on bass and TJ on guitar.
