About Me


I worked as a Chicago trauma surgeon until I came home one night to find my wife fatally wounded by a one-armed intruder. I was wrongfully convicted of her murder and sentenced to death. A fortuitous highway accident on the way to Death Row facilitated my escape. I've been on the run ever since, trying to prove my innocence. For starters, I am not a killer. As a physician it has always been my goal to save lives. Secondly, I was and still am in love with my wife, Helen. What keeps me going is the hope that I can bring her killer to justice.
