I was born and raised in the hills of eastern Kentucky (Pike county). I'm 35 years old, and play the open-back banjo, clawhammer style. I enjoy a combination of the hard drivin' dance tunes and those hauntingly beautiful murder ballads, paying particular attention to the tunes of eastern Kentucky.
