About Me

The PRR have combined the old school funk of brother duet harmony with the eclectic sounds of traditional fiddling to produce one of the best traditional acts going in music today. The PRR play music that represents country people. Country people from all over the south have grown to love the PRR and that alone makes them the premier country act going. A couple of down to earth boys from the southland that in performance or in casual conversation do not put on the dog so to speek. It is comforting to know that in this world there are some people still keeping it real. The PRR have performed all across the U.S. and Alabama and the reaction that Claude Eubanks keeps hearing from thier fans is "I didn't know that 2 people could be so powerfull, They Sang the brother duets with power. And on top of that they are funny and not just funny looking. No where else in country music is there any two people playing and singing the way the PRR do.The PRR have captured & unleashed the essence of old time mountain music. In brother duet fashion, they shout the blues and the gospel, saw the strings & crack the jokes. Nowhere else will you find better performances of the traditional country music that gave way to bluegrass & found international acclaim in OBrother, Where Art Thou? The PRR will have your toes tapping, your belly laughing, & your heart warming to old time mountain music. It's like this, -- Hey, do you know "feast here tonight" by the Monroe's. Yea, kick it off. Form that moment on we knew the same milk man delivered to each of our homes. Pea Ridge started down the track in 1997. In 2002, after hanging at festivals, Matt Kinman stood up and shared a vision of a string band that would capture an audience with variety - fiddling, bro. duets, cowboy songs, dancing, etc.. The Old Time Serenaders were born. The Serenaders are a four piece, Matt Kinman Adrian Powell, Todd Gladson, and Kenneth Johnson. All bring talents on fiddle, banjo, guitar, mandolin, cello, bones, dance, singing, comedy, and whatever else you can trade on. That being said, If your needing some music, The PRR or the Serenaders will make you glad you gave a listen.paid for by "Matt Kinman for mayor"
