I was born and raised in the hills of East Kentucky. I love sawing on the fiddle & pickin the banjo!
I play fiddle in the Clack Mountain String Band the hardest working oldtime group in the East KY hills. We love learning old tunes and songs and pickin & singin them for/with our friends, family and neighbors.
I also play fiddle with Kentucky Wild Horse, a great group of guys who love pickin' and singin'.
I work at the Kentucky Center for Traditional Music at Morehead State University. I simply love what I get to do. I love sharing music with anyone who's willing to listening.
