I'd like to meet:
Perry Farrell, Buddha, Ghandi, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Joe Strummer, Bob Marley. Everyone of them is dead except Perry. (What do you think my chances are?).......................................................
...Ghandi said, "First they laugh at you, then they ridicule you, then they attack you.....then you win."
You Are Big Black Boots!

You've got lots of it - and you love to give it
A guy has to be pretty gusty to hit on you
But if he's your type, you'll warm up... a little
What Kind of Shoe Are You?
Music:
Let's see...ummm....where do I start? Rockabilly, ska, punk, cowpunk, alt-country, blue-grass, swing, jazz, blues...fuck, if it's got soul, I like it.
Movies:
I like a lot of movies. I like a lot of genres. I really enjoy Tim Burton. I really enjoy Johnny Depp. I really like older Quintin Terrantino. I also am a big fan of classic movies. Everything from old westerns to musicals. Grease, West Side Story, The Outsiders, Stand by Me, even Back to the Future are all good. I am a sucker for 50's shit. I always have been, I probably always will be. I REALLY dig Greaser boys. (how cheesy and cliche). I also enjoy documentaries. I will always remember that old documentary following Social Distortion around, and they went through Calgary, and all kinds of craziness was caught on tape. It was called Another State of Mind. That movie is absolutely burned into my brain. Another one that I saw recently was The Devil and Daniel Johnston. Very good. Very interesting.
Television:
I reiterate that television is evil, however, I like some T.V. I like CSI (the original, then the New York, then Miami, why the hell is the Miami one the most popular? It isn't nearly as good. But I guess having the focus on beautiful people, and not on the science would appeal more to the masses of course, it's just geeze, it's hardly the same show. And what's with Horatio? What a fuckin' cheeseball!!), Criminal Minds, Antiques Roadshow, Medium (that's my fave. not only do I love Patricia Arquette, BUT I am SO all about the premise of the show, very cool), then of course there are all of the stupid cartoons etc, you know Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy, and other funny non-cartoon ones, like That Seventy's Show (not that I watch these that often, but they are usually good for a chuckle)
Also, I really enjoy documentaries, I know that I mentioned this in the movie section, however, I REALLY like them! (lol).
Books:
plenty. I can't seem to get enough of books. I also go in waves of genres. For example, I will go from girl classics (Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights etc), to Fantasy Science Fiction (Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams), to reference books (Everything from natural healing to Star Maps), to self help/spiritual (The annual magical alminac to Buddha, His Life and His Teaching) to fiction (On Buelah Heights (murder mystery), Dirty Little Pretty (coming of age story for punk chicks from the late eighties, early ninety's), to The Waking of Sleeping Beauty (by Anne Rice, very naughty), to whatever I seem to be able to get my hands on. And I assure you, that was all just summing up, skimming the surface. And, I tend to keep all of my books. One day, I will have a library in my home. A whole room dedicated to books, and reading in comfort. How cool would THAT be!! (I am SUCH a nerd!! LOL)
Heroes:
People who against all of the odds, can come out on top. People who stick to their guns, stick to their dreams, and stick to their friends and family. BUT, at the same time, are not afraid to think "outside the box". Revolutionaries, and rebels, poets, and playwrites, artists, actors, and architects. These are the people that I admire.
