Hard to say, really. I don't watch TV. I catch my Daily Show w/ Jon Stewart and Colbert Report clips on the net as I'm able.Shows I enjoy when I can or used to enjoy include: Flight of the Concords, The Office (as soon as I get around to watching it), Mr. Show, Arrested Development, Reno 911, Da Ali G Show, South Park, Home Movies, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sealab 2021, Family Guy, Trigger Happy TV, Strangers With Candy.Though I could give a shit about professional sports, I like SportsCenter highlights for basketball/football/soccer/other feats of agility/skill/etc. There are a bunch of HBO & Showtime original series I'd like to check out asap--but it'd take so much catching up! Absurd fundamentalist religious programming.
I mostly read non-fiction and some dark humor, as well. Jared Diamond and then David Sedaris. Amy Goodman and then Tom Robbins. Carl Sagan and Palahniuk. Greg Palast and Sarah Vowell.
Admittedly, my guiltiest reading pleasure comes from titles that take place in the Aliens universe, Ripley or no.
1984, To Kill a Mockingbird, the unedited version of The Jungle, Ishmael, Confederacy of Dunces, etca small, dusty chess-related library;-)Bill Hicks, Howard Zinn, David Cross, Jon Stewart, Noam Chomsky, Stephen Colbert, Jack Black, Thom Yorke, Maynard James Keenan, John Lennon, Amy Goodman, and many, many others...
