About Me

Dana Holmes is a multitalented lead singer, consummate background vocalist, arranger, dancer and actor with all of the necessary ingredients to ensure success.In the tradition of most great singers before him, Dana absolutely has the common thread - he grew up in church and was exposed initially to the rich gospel music heritage. There he was able to develop his musical prowess in the choir at his father’s church. His musical gifts were evident early on, and was soon asked to be lead singer in various community choirs and at numerous local and regional events while growing up in the New York City.Now fast becoming a fixture in the New York music and entertainment arena, Dana is uniquely talented and has a reputation as a much- sought after session singer. In addition to having an incredible voice, Dana specializes in the necessary on- target sensibilities – versatility, flexibility, and responsibility. Already a seasoned professional who commits fully to every opportunity to share his God-given gifts, Dana always gives his best - whether on recordings, in jingles, on television, theater or live performances. Despite the challenges of rigorous traveling schedules, rehearsals, theater productions, sessions, and live performances, Dana is undoubtedly on his way, with his most productive years clearly ahead.His talents have afforded him numerous opportunities to showcase his talents. In theater in Producer, Director Charles Chan’s “Love Don’t Pay No Bills” and “Where have All The Good Men Gone”, in David Payton's "A Good Man Is Hard To Find", in Michael Matthews "Love The One You're With", "Sugar Daddy", in Producer David Swicegood’s Off Broadway musical “The All Night Strut”. Dana has also shared the stage with many stellar Pop, Gospel and R&B acts including Nick Lachet, Jessica Simpson, Karen Clark Sheard, Twinkie Clark, Marvin Sapp, Kelly Price, Kenny Lattimore, The Clark Sisters, David Hollister, John P. Kee & New Life Community Choir, Marvin Winans, Faith Evans, Justin Timberlake, Liza Minelli, Victor Caldwell and Regina Belle. He has also traveled and performed extensively across the United States, Asia and in Europe.His musical journey continues, with strong determination, ambition and talent.
