About Me

you're in for it now. you have reached the ever so trendy myspace page for gary (aka that strange zombie obsessed guy who goes by zombieinferno in various places around the net.) i have tweaked and customized (and tweaked some more) this page since i am not one for the horrid design scheme that tom seems to enjoy.so now that you are here, i am sure you want to know everything there is to know about me, don't you? of course!i am currently finishing up my last semester at columbia college chicago for my bachelor of fine arts in fine arts. i was a little fickle in the beginning and like many college students had to change my major enough times to make myself dizzy (interactive multimedia graphic design fine arts) so my background and training is a little varied even if it took me a while to get it all figured out. i am sure my college enjoyed making extra cash off my indecision. did i mention i was also a professional photographer for the united states navy for five years? oh joyous wasteful years of my life just given away.I make and think art constantly, pretty much to the point that I dream about painting and often find myself in the morning trying to remember all the details. I silently plan wondrous projects and installations with secret messages that no one in the world will understand. except me of course. Most of my work has aspects of fractured urban environments as an extension of the human psyche and emotional memory. I paint and draw alot, detailing odd imagery into my many sketchbooks for future projects that I only wish i had time for now. Lately however my work has turned more towards video & audio installations so i am running with it... will you find some examples of my video work below all this incessant blathering. so for now, this is it. i am simply biding my time while i finally go on that nationwide road trip of roadside attractions full of giant forks, fish and bison , mysterious vortexes and muffler men. everyone needs to have goals.

i ♥ stuff

i am an artist, a pseudo-intellectual, an unrepentant geek of various degrees.
i am obsessed with horror films especially over the top zombie fare and j-horror, 40's & 50's vintage decor, vector graphics, vinyl and handmade toys.
i wish i had a giant panda robot I could trample all over the city with extendable laser claws. I could destroy yuppie land developers with it.
It would be grand.
i want do lots of things , go to a lot of places and meet a lot of people .
i watch way too many movies and my ever burgdeoning dvd collection is always lagging behind my ever-growing list of desired selections. while my book collection is quite similar in size i never seem to have enough time to catch up on all the reading i would like to do.
i am worth $2,265,204 on humanforsale.com . in reality however, i am priceless.
