..This profile was edited with Thomas' myspace editor™ V2.5 An internationally recorded songwriter, guitarist and flutist, Guy spent seven years in Nashville where he honed his songwriting skills. He performed for several years in the southwest, the central northwest and upper northeast opening for such classic performers as Doc and Merle Watson, Joe Cocker, Firefall and David Allen Coe. He has had four songs in the Billboard charts. “World of Lies”, written and recorded by Guy earned a Single Pick of the Week in Record World Magazine.“Last Train to Heaven”, “Atomic Bum” and “Open the Door, Let Me In” were recorded by the late Boxcar Willie. Guy was head writer for Boxcar’s Column One Publishing Company in Springfield, Missouri for five years. He also co-wrote (with Allen Ross) the original soundtrack for the BBC documentary “Son of a Gun”, the history of Samuel Colt.Recently Guy recorded and released an independent CD, “Stone in the Ocean”, on his “Workmaniac Music” label. PRI and BBC stations in Australia, England, North Africa, Canada and college stations all around the U.S. have been playing his new CD. He is now busy on the singer/songwriter circuit doing shows with David Childers, Sam Anderson, Michael Reno Harrell, Malcolm Holcombe, Jonathan Byrd and a host of talented performers.

Influences: I'm a child of the 60's and early 70's and listened to everything that was going down from Allman Brothers, America to Zappa and Zepplin. Love Little Feat, Dire Straits, "Delbert", "Bonnie", "Taj", "BB", "Dave" and anything bluesy. Constantly listening for, and to, new music. My life is a continueing search for the lyrics to my next song.
