Brandy Lindsey and the Punch

About Me

"It’s like being in a honky-tonk or a greasy rock club that isn’t embarrassed to serve good wine along with Pabst Blue Ribbon." -Wayne Bledsoe, Knoxville News Sentinel • There’s a buzz about this band... What started as a solo venture on Brandy Lindsey’s part developed into (and pardon my french) a kickass Americana/Rock band from Upstate, S.C. that is leaving audiences wanting more. • Brandy Lindsey and the Punch is led by a gal who can – not only sing and play her heart out – but write songs that make an instant connection with the listener. And it doesn’t stop there. She’s backed by a strong group of guys that provides the perfect rhythm, melody and groove. Once you’ve seen and heard them, you’ll understand why these fellows were aptly named “The Punch.” • The band’s 2008 EP, "Songs We Know," showcases the bond they have as players. They build on each other's strengths and dig deeper into that rootsy, rockin’ Americana sound. • Since collaborating, the band has played festivals, clubs and on the radio in the Southeast. And in addition to getting great reviews on their recorded material, they’re also getting a lot attention from their live shows.
