About Me

Biography
Paul’s eclectic musical tastes and knowledge have motivated him over the years in composing, arranging and performing in a wide array of musical styles. From studying violin and piano to programming synths and sequencers, he has ventured into traditional forms of classical and jazz, pop, soul, electronic music and many others.
Born in Halifax, West Yorkshire in 1974, his early musical experience included playing violin in a youth orchestra and providing vocals and keyboards for a popular soul band. In 1996 he received a BA Hons degree in Popular Music and Recording at Salford University where he became involved with multimedia dance music projects, studio session recording and performing gigs under a variety of pseudonyms. In 2002 he began composing and recording original music for Dance in Education has since produced a range of CDs for this market. He has also been involved in composing and arranging works for television, radio and film.
He currently writes and produces music in classic and contemporary styles using cinematic and dramatic elements suitable for soundtrack and stage work
