About Me

Obsessions include writing, reading, working out, the martial arts and being a fan of the Mets, Giants and Knicks (and yes, I know the Knicks stink right now, but things will turn around eventually). I currently write and edit for a number of publications and websites, including Beyond Race magazine and RapReviews.com. I have starred on a Reality TV dating show (Date Patrol) and I've been groped by a celebrity (but it was Andy Dick, so that's REALLY nothing to write home about). Strange things always seem to happen to me, but I'm cool with most of it. Overall I'm a laid back dude who's passionate about his loves and willing to let almost everything else roll off his shoulders.
Writing Info
I am currently the Urban Culture Editor at Beyond Race Magazine and the Interviews Editor at RapReviews.com.
Over the course of my 7+ year career I have placed over 100 feature stories in over a dozen national magazines. My range of work includes interviews and in-depth features from the worlds of music, television, movies, comedy, sports and art. I have eight national magazine cover stories under my belt.
