Chan Epic is a former sponsored skateboarder, who now concentrates on making music. He has a unique talent as a writer, producer, rapper, and singer. Chan was a founding member of hip hop groups Fahrenheit 451, Tha StikUpKidz and The Chitlin Circus, and produced tracks and has been featured on 4 Soulow CD releases. In addition, Chan has produced tracks for Chicago R&B singer Mela, Atlanta soul singer/songwriter Blackberry, Miami rapper Gucciano, jazz artist Longineu Parsons, and indie bluegrass duo Sons of Slim.As an artist, Chan and Tha StikUpKidz have performed with Kool Keith, GZA, Blackalicious, and Talib Kweli.Chan is originally from Canton, Ohio, but has also lived in San Antonio, San Diego, and Tampa. He is the resident producer at Soulow Studios, and is available for production work. He is currently producing TheRest's debut EP.
