DJ Butch, originally from Wakulla County, said a stint playing drums in high school sparked his love for music. Blessed with an ear for beats, a healthy helping of Wakulla County pride and a surprisingly clear artistic and professional worldview, DJ Butch began a musical journey that allowed his talents to spread over many different endeavors. DJ Butch began his career armed with a self-described "busted" DJ setup, with which he spun records at parties for friends and family. Soon after becoming a DJ, his talents were featured on a hit single by the producer of the group Splack Pack. His experience with Splack Pack energized his quest to make more great music, not just to satisfy his financial needs, but also to bridge the gap between himself and the people. To that end, DJ Butch found some friends who shared his ideals, and together they formed the rap group Tyger Hill.
DJ Butch is now turning heads not only with his DJ’ing and producing skills but with his new clothing company, County Boyz. He has also worked with T.Pain and Thrill da Playa (69boyz)....
