Motivational Quote of the Week:
"In a world where there is so much to be done. I felt strongly impressed that there must be something for me to do."

..The Tattoo CrazeI am all about promoting the whole Florida Movement, but this song is so crazy! I just had to let you hear it. It's by a group called the Alliance and it features Fabo. This song has been playing all over Georgia. If you ain't heard... you probably missin' out.

I am influenced by...

Besides my family and friends, I would have to admit that other people have touched me in some way in my life. When I see people that's not capable of doing things such as mentally challenged, sick people, babies, deceased and incarcerated family and friends; I sometimes feel like I am entitled to be great for them. This inspires me to do alot of things that I do.
Dr. King represents all who have fought for equality. He represents Civil Rights activists such as Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, and many more who put their loved ones in harm's way and died for our well-being.
Black people didn't have rights 30-40 years ago. Our parents, aunts, and uncles couldn't go to a good doctor like the white people. Our doctors didn't have the proper equipment. We didn't have good jobs. In the south as kids growing up, they didn't work at Winn-Dixie or McDonalds. They had to work in cotton fields and on farms. We worship entertainers daily, but we don't have time to read about our history.
I am grateful for Dr. King and all Civil Rights Activists. I don't take my freedom for granted and I encourage you to appreciate yours as well.Oprah is my biggest inspiration. She's had an influence on me since I was in elementary school. She's a great woman and she inspires me to be great. Damn, she make women everywhere look great! Besides greatness, the only thing that we have in common is a passion for TV Production.
She also was a huge inspiration for Tyler Perry and I also look up to him as well. We have two things in common: 1) LOVE for Oprah and 2) LOVE for TV/Film Production.Next to Oprah, Tupac is my biggest inspiration. He is who inspired me to write. Through him, I learned how to express my feelings in the form of art. He wasn't just a rapper, he was an intelligent man who influenced millions. For every gang-bangin song, he wrote a positive song reinforcing issues in our community. A lot of rappers can learn from Tupac and gain knowledge.L-Boogie is also a brillant woman. She represent women in a positve way and I will always respect her. I learned a lot from The MisEducation. We NEED another album like that.
All of these guys are talented songwriters. They inspire me in many ways. Smitty is from Little Haiti (Miami), Florida. Alot of people didn't know about his ghostwriting efforts for various rappers in the game.
Neyo is great! Before he was an artist, he was behind the scenes writing hits for BIG artists. To date, I enjoy the music he write for his album and other. Tank has been blowing me away since he was writing for Dave Hollister. Alot of people don't know that he's responsible for Omarion's "O", Marcus Houston's Naked", Jamie Foxx's "Do What it Do", and a host of other music.
New comers like T-Pain and Jennifer Ellison also inspire me. T-Pain is from Tallahassee and he is living proof that any nigga can do what he want to do as long as he's giving it his all.
The gift of songwriting is important to me, cuz a lot of artists aren't capable of composing lyrics for songs. They can only sing them and a lot of rappers don't have time to write lyrics or need help with lyrical content. Some people can't do it on their own and they NEED songwriters to contribute to their success. RESPECT SONGWRITERS!
