going through a change of life. yeah! he heh. have stepped off the edge, again. didnt wanna leave it too late. also didnt wanna run restaurants for what's left of my gig here on this planet. sheeeeit!!! restaurants are serious hard work. gets to your head and takes up three much space. so. what next? well. i'm gonna spend the winter here in jbay, taking photos and playing a litttle music again, and surfing like a teenager again. gonna get seriously sage 'n mellow, philosophise 'n talk shit. gonna trust in my instincts, and see if i can get thin, tanned and interesting again. having said that, i just got me a stand-up paddle board and i must say this thang gets you fit fast, recommended to all you guys who are having problems keeping up with the grommets,(to be continued. putting up some new pics first)

am into all music as long as it's good to my ear. dont like people who write something off just because it's not to their particular taste. all music has merit, just gotta open up to it and let it in. my big influences through life have been neil young, dylan, bob marley, bowie, zappa, springsteen, tom waits, little feat, fats waller 'n cole porter, robert johnson, bb king, lightning hopkins, sonny boy and all the bluesmen, not to mention ella, louis and billie holiday along with joni mitchell WINTER IN JBAY - KELLY HEADING FOR THE FINALS 007

only really enjoy history, crime and investigation, national geographic, all news and all sport. really dislike soaps. think they're just a part of the 'let them eat cake' philosophy of control. NO PHOTOSHOP USED - PROMISE steve getting deep lol.

Books:

really enjoy a good book tho these days, nothing too deep. last really amazing book was middlesex by jeffrey eugenides who also wrote 'the virgin suicides.' otherwise, the old 'catcher in the rye' changed my life as a thirteen year-old and from there have been through the phases, from kahil gibran to patricia cornwall ha ha with some great stuff in between,
