TONI ALLAYIALIS : Toni Allayialis is a Singer, Dancer, Percussionist, Composer and Playwright. She has sung for Paul Kelly, INXS, Vince Jones, Marcia Hines, Tribes of Jubal and The Australian Art Orchestra to name a few.She is a founding member of Toni Nation, an original World Music group who represent multicultural Australia, having toured Nationwide and to The Philippines, Singapore and Jamaica performing at Festivals. She makes regular appearances in Sydney with the Latin Jazz ensemble Espirito and Samba Mundi.
MARCELLO MAIO : Young musician & composer from Sydney. Has been working with bands such as: Monsieur Camembert, Tango Saloon, Marcello maio trio and Samba Mundi. He also was the musical director of the Australian Idol finalist Ngaiire Joseph.
At SBS Television for 2 consecutive years took part of the house band for "Siberia Night Program".
JUNICHI SHIOMI : Originally from Japan, he played with Platters from USA & the music film composer Michael Nyman. Based in Sydney for over a decade, established himself among "the musos", as a very groovy bass player. Since his arrival in Australia, recorded and played with Jose Prates, Clabash, Upshot, Latin Fire, Samba Mundi and many others.
RODRIGO GALVAO : A Brazilian drummer with a strong samba foundation. In Brazil played with Rosa Passos, Cassia Eller, Brazilian Popular orchestra, MPB Jazz and Renato Vasconcello Quartet. In 2004 moved to Sydney and started to play with Jonathon swartz, Mike Nock, Marsala and Espirito. As a special guest toured with the German guitarist lulo Reinhard and the Australian guitarrist Doug de Vries.
With Guy Strazz developed a duo, that took them to World Expo in Japan (2005) & the Intenational Guitar Festival in Adelaide (2007)._____________________________________________________

Samba Mundi is a collective of personalities that began as a trio and has now has flourished into an exciting and terribly groovy outfit. Comprising of musicians from all over the world, each brings their own influences and style to the original compositions. With a strong brazilian foundation, Samba Mundi adds jazz, funk, tango, european folk and african layers to create unique world music. Based and formed in Sydney, in 2004, this newly formed groups music can be both powerful and delicate.
