Byron Mark

My music career began with studying the piano at a young age. From this point, music has always been an integral part of my life. I have performed with various groups and artists, both nationally and internationally, including big band ensembles and the Millenium Marching Band. Keyboards are my main instrument, however I also perform on a wide range of percussion, (mainly djembe and timbales) and the alto saxophone. I listen to a broad-scope of music, and incorporate all influcenes into my compositions. However, my passion lies within the sounds of funk and fusing this with other styles to create a sound that is unique. I currently perform with my own funk/jazz fusion band 'DLIVR', as well as 'THE BAKERY', regular gigs with guitarists LUKE KOTERAS and VAN SERENO, and play percussion with DJ's at various venues. I am also willing to collaborate with artists on their own solo projects if they feel my vibe is suitable.
