Place of birth - Burnley, Lancashire.
First interest in music during late 70's during the summer of 77' and the 'mod revival'. Discovered my older sister's had many records of the artists from the 60's era (being mods & rockers themselves) and thus broadening my knowledge and interest in music.
First 'love' was and has always been football. My involvement with the proffessional game, being a coach at Burnley & Blackburn Rovers along with several years coaching for the Football Association in Lancashire and managing local semi professional side Colne FC obviously took up much (ALL) of my time. Although I did on many occassions manage to attend various sccoter/mod events during the 80's, combining the two was somewhat difficult,and how I did this I'll never know!!!
Since retiring and 'hanging up my boots' so to speak, I decided to finally do what I should have done many years ago and pick up an instrument and play - so I picked up the bass guitar. Love the sound and energy that this instrument brings, and you just can't beat playing 'live'.

Your never too old to start or learn something new they say - trying to convince your body is a diffent matter, ha ha ha. You never stop learning in life, and it's far too short to accept that you should 'settle down'! Nah!!! - relax and re-charge the batteries once in a while-Yes, but slow down - NEVER!
