In late summer 2003, The Patterns became born from an alchemical collision of scuffed bass lines, dropped drum beats and wasted chords from past generations of classic garage rock and soul acts.
Their mix of classic powerpop melodies married to the dirty static and fuzz of psyche - rolled and coated in the sweetness of their soul influences has thrown forth a sound that is both raw and polished, tough yet eloquent and both classic and modern.
The Patterns exist today for nobody in particular - yet everybody at the same time.
