About Me

Hi! I am Mico. Mico is the nick-name my family gave me. My real name is Mieko Shimizu. I am a singer, song writer, beat-maker, arranger and producer. I might be a little geeky and love little machines or funky computer soft-wear and their manuals. If I’m not reading them, probably I am reading Emily Dickinson, Ted Hughes or Michel Houellebecq. If I am not reading, probably listening to Bartok, Stockhausen, Joni Mitchell, Ligeti, Xenakis, Bach, Radiohead, Bjork ……..I love singing and playing the piano and sometimes get carried away and even play Jazz. Sorry about that. I am also obsessed with mad rhythms and I love making disfunctional beats for people who like to dance in their brain. I also love composing some odd music for strings. I can’t play the guitar but I can play accordion and flute. I love running and swimming in the sea, I’m not so keen on team games. On the contrary to my slowness, I am fond of Formula one, the speed and the sounds that racing cars produce inspires my geeky nature. I do love animals from dogs to snakes and support RSPCA and WSPA. Children are ok as they are going to grow up eventually!I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4 I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4 http://img411.imageshack.us/img411/4315/dscn8851et2.jpg I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V4.4 ..
