Food, Books, Music, Laughter, Low-budget movies, folklore of the sea
Giant Squid, Big Foot, old timey Hobos (no new timey bums please), other bakers and chefs, good natured people who just get on with life without making a big production out of every little event in their lives. People who like to read and travel and who understand that reading and travelling don't make you a interesting person
I like all kinds of music, I like the rock and roll, and the punk that all the kids are listening to. I will listen to anything regardless of genre as long as the musician is doing something new and interesting. I don't like alot of mainstream stuff, not because it's mainstream, but because it is bland and crappy. Lately I have been listening to more folk
I hate big budget special effects. I think it's more interesting to see what a director can do with less. Long live Roger Corman
PBS, nerd tv, cooking shows, infomercials with excitable ambigously British pitchmen
I'm currently reading a book on folklore and legends of the Sea, I am always looking for new books and authors to read, and old ones as well. I don't like it when people try to project some air of intellectual superiority because of the books they've read, or frown on you when you haven't read the complete works of their favorite 19th century Russian novelist. I do not care what you have read, and the fact that I do not have a favorite book or author does not make me a dull person, it just means I don't play favorites
people who stand up for basic civil rights. This list includes anyone from Pete Seeger to Frank Zappa, and even to Ron Jeremy. The last one might seem odd, but the man is probably doing more for your 1st amendment rights than you are.
