About Me

..Born in Poland, I first studied classical guitar with Cezary Strokosz and thanks to the Man! who became a dear friend was involved into organising several guitar festivals. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life: gathering people who hold the same passion for music and for a few days just dive deeply into it and share what they do best... Then I went to Paris and decided to learn singing, studied theatre, dance and singing for three years under the direction of Christian Pages at Ecole Superieure du Spectacle. Incredible growing experience, wonderful friendships and a begginning of the huge journey. In my understanding singing is an art that needs to be aproached with humility and respect, the whole human being becomes an instrument and it conveys an incredible power but at the same time an undeniable vulnerability. I could talk about singing for hours... Whoever takes that path will understand. In Paris I met an incredible singer, teacher and human being, Carole Simon to whom I am very grateful for being such an example. I did a lot of singing in Paris, No Way, Channel No Zinc, Sharif M'Baw are some of the projects I was involved with. Then I decided to learn more about jazz and came to London. Was lucky to find the exciting performer and jazz educator Anita Wardell, the crazy scat-wonder, and continue learning from her commitment to jazz music. Currently working on my first album, I realise how lucky I am to live in a place where we have anaccess to information and education. Music is for me one of the woders of this world and I thank all the people who make it a reality.see interviw in Cooltura (in polish)http://www.cooltura.co.uk/index.php?id=1212762197
