playing music & singing, bridge, target shooting(yes, that does mean FIREARMS), fishing, ping pong, badminton, other stuff.
Old friends I've lost touch with, including old music store customers & employees. New friends that are nice. New friends that are nice & want to either acquire stuff from my store or hire me for bridge, even better. Single, but, let's just say, I ain't particularly looking. I'm Not really pursuing playing music right now, but, that could always change at any minute. As for those who have left this flesh body, Paul of Tarsus & Thomas Jefferson immediately come to mind. Lemme think... Nathan Bedford Forrest, Judas Iscariot(I think he is so misunderstood, but, so is Paul), Gustav Mahler(loved his wife passionately & loved nature & drinkin' a little booze & wrote such beautiful music, a kind but very passionate & faithful spirit, I like that), John Donne, Generals Patton & Pershing & Erwin Rommel & MacArthur, surely Sam Clemens, some early bridge heroes(note me if U want their names).
Despise rap(shouldn't even be allowed in music category, shouldn't be allowed, period) & hiphop(borderline for music, lol). Hank Williams, Gram Parsons, Muddy Waters, Beatles, Stones, Who, Hendrix, Kinks, Carl Perkins, The Killer, Albert King, Moby Grape, Walter Donaldson, Chet Baker, Nat King Cole Trio, postwar Billie Holiday(not fond of prewar that the critics so love), Carly Simon(when she does songs she didn't write, lol,)Patsy Cline, Dan Penn, Gladys Knight(not always fond of the hits, but, always some good album cuts, & just luv homegirl's voice), Milton Brown(no page here, unbelievable) Madeleine Peyroux, Al Green, Mahler, Beethoven, Debussy, Chopin, Rimski-Korsakov, this list could go on & on & maybe it should...
Sooo many. Comedies, horror, suspense, film noir, whatever. Like Hitchcock & anything that Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer & that bunch have done, ie, Spinal Tap, Best in Show, Waiting For Guffman, etc. Marx Brothers. Oh, enjoy all of Bobby Rodriguez' movies as well. Check out his highly undiscovered "Road Racers", has the best rockabilly soundtrack ever done.
South Park, Shepherd's Chapel, Andy Griffith, Beverly Hillbillies, classic Warner Bros cartoons. BTW, write Ted Turner & tell him what a jerk he is for altering the Warners cartoons.
by author: Tommy Wolfe(no page here, I am mortified), Billy Faulkner, Sammy Clemens, Oscar Wilde, etc. & Jahaveh, our father, who, by his hand, inspired our human pals to pen the bible.
Some of my music store customers who overcame being brainwashed left wingers(yes, that means ANY democrat, whether just a minion,Lenin called them "useful idiots", or, someone who really thinks they're a commie). I love overcomers.
