I'm surprised anyone would be interested but here goes...I am a music fan, always have been since I got my first plastic wind up record player as a kid. Listening led to playing, first a piano accordion, there was always a piano in the house, then onto guitar. This led to a basic domestic 2 track reel to reel tape recorder, I became hooked with the magic of recording sound. I still play guitar and a little piano when the time spent running the Zane Record label allows.I founded Zane by default. After working in studios, producing in my own basement studio, I got tired of having projects rejected by labels or accepted and seeing no money for my efforts. So.. start a label, which I did with the support of my wife Diana, and I'm proud the first Zane release was by the late great, and friend Eddie Hinton. Fifteen years on and Eddie is as important to the label as he ever was. I will always be thankful to Eddie and his music along with all the artists that the label has been proud to work with, not forgetting all of you who have supported our efforts by buying the releases. Still not a lot money around, but I enjoy what I do and until that stops, let music be the joy of life...play on!
