About Me

I'm a true believer in doing everything you can before you die! I love life & love what life has to offer - don't get me wrong, I do have a shitty day every now & then & yes I am human.From age zero to 29 I'm the eldest of four girls & always loved to run a chaos at home. I had a great up bringing with my Italian background & grew up doing all those wonderful things like "making the sauce day" :), taking piano lessons studying & then the big trip overseas to experience the life outside of Australia.30 - now - I moved out of home really late in life.... what do you expect, I'm Italian & the rule was you gotta be married to move out.....well so much for that....I got my way, I moved out without a boyfriend & better still, I came out when I was 31...oh man, disaster really hit....imagine that, Italian, gay & moved out of home! Life moved on & life got better. Met the love of my life, we moved in together, got married in Paris on our 18 Month anniversary at the Sacre Cuore in Monte Marte. My family are all cool now & accept Mish as one of their own!Now enough of my personal stuff - my professional career commenced soon after I finished Uni - I was 24 & got my first real job at a place called "Olivetti", yes the Italian computer people, decided to work & study part time at La Trobe University where I undertook the MBA program. I was fortunate enough to be part of an exchange program at the Graduate School of Management in Rouen in France. Studying in a different country with different customs & traditions was the most amazing experience at that time in my life. I left France to return back to my native land of Australia where I obtained employment with PricewaterhouseCoopers in which was bought out by IBM back in October 2003. To this day I am working as a Finance Analyst in the Strategic Outsourcing Industry of IBM. My creative side teaches piano, I love that people learn with me & then start to teach other people what I taught them. Its really quite intriguing.It doesn't stop there, I got bored a couple of years back & wanted more with my life. I was presented with the new sounds of a Melbourne based band called - Glovebox, Melbourne's own Electrorganic Super Pop Band, I heard their stuff & was totally taken by their sound. It's been 18 months since taking on this band & its been so far the most amazing experience & learning curve of my life. With lots of hard work the band & I travelled to the USA touring across 17 states in 5 weeks & performing over 20 gigs in the coolest venues the states have to offer! I always love meeting new & interesting people, but most of all, people that have a vision in life & want to give something to life that will make it a better place! Then there is always Simone Lahbib & Mandana Jones :)

Music:

I came across a Melbourne band called Glovebox a few years ago & thought I would give it a go to manage them, I heard their stuff & thought, mmm they have something here thats great & different from the rest of the stuff out there. I always was a music lover but did all my studies in Business Management, so with this I was confident to help a band along with this quality I had. So I decided to give it all I got. I do love a lot of different types of Music artists which includes, Armik, Babs, Celine, No Doubt, Eros, Gloria, Ani, Gypsy Kings, Bon Jovi, Ella, U2, Heather Frahn, The Minority, Climber, 4000 Old & the list goes on!

Movies:

I love a great romance & even drama & comedy. Just for the record, loved Grease 1&2, Electric Boogaloo 1&2, Titanic, Cocktail, The Firm, Anne of Green Gables (don't laugh thats fantastic - all 3 :) ), Rocky 1,2,3,4, Superman 1,2,3,4, I love everything...just not scary movies.

Television:

Don't watch much tv, though I must admit, love CSI & then I got hooked on The L Word 1, 2, 3 & Desperate Housewifes 1 & 2, Bad Girls 1, 2 & 3 but watched that on DVD...does that count?

Books:

mmm I haven't read a good book lately, too busy doing other stuff.
