On the Run

The band was founded in 1995 in Belgrade by Marko, Nikola, Ilija, and Janko. It was one of the first melodic HC/Punk bands in Serbia. We had several gigs (one with Blitz Babiez, KST, September, 1996) and then we took some time to finish school and write some books, and sell some lingerie. In January 2003, Aref joined the band and our search for an additional guitarist was over. In June 2004 we went into a basement of Sava Center (local Congress Hall) and in a storage area of local music equipment rentier we have recorded our first album - RAISED IN CAPTIVITY. Album was recorded and produced by ourselves and is published by our friend, who owns a MAGMEDIA indie record label. We have played all over Serbia (including EXIT festival 2005...), and also in Croatia, and Austria (Wien)...

TRIVIA: NIKOLA is a Vascular surgeon (he operates on people and they usualy survive). AREF is a Movie editor for one of the national TV stations. MARKO is one of best selling novel writers in Serbia. ILIJA has advanced to manager in a Lingerie trading company. JANKO is Engineer of Electrical Engineering.
