Blaquesheep Records began to form in 2003, Digga a talented singer, songwriter and D_el; very talented producer decided that there was not enough support and backing in the UK for Hip-Hop Soul. The only way to get there sound heard was to set up there own company.After years of blood, sweat and tears the company is finally here, and has already started to make an impact. Blaquesheep Records main artist at the moment is Digga, the company has set up a myspace page, which has already created a huge buzz around the artist. Digga is currently receiving great support from a number of the UK’s top DJ’s including Dj One Samurai and DJ Poser from Def Jam UK. Digga has already performed at a number of places this year and is still getting bookings now.Blaquesheep Records producers D_el and Ayzo are also getting recognition, and are making beats for other artists as well as Digga. Blaquesheep's producers are very versatile there style of music ranges from R n B to UK Hip Hop to funky house. You can catch a D_el beat on the OTs mix tape (in stores now).The first release from Blaquesheep Records will be Digga’s mixtape, ‘I’ve been watching’, currently putting the finishing touches to it, due for release late November.Following that will be a mixtape from D-el, which will feature a number of talented UK artists.2006 is the year for the UK music scene, and it’s the year of BLAQUESHEEP RECORDS, so watch this space!!!!
