The R&B scène is growing in Europe. The UK, France and Germany have a huge urban scene. The Netherlands is really upcomming and has many talents. An example of this new upcoming talent is the R&B formation ENCORE. 2 young men from Amsterdam started something for the fun that is growing into something really serious. They did a collabo with Anthony James who wrote songs for Jaheim, 112 and Brandy. The track I’ll be gone did very well in the Dutch Urban scene. Now they try to reach a bigger audience with their new single “ The Place†a remake of the hit song performed by super group Shai.
At the moment Steez, Face are doing everything on their own, hoping to be pickup by a major record company. They released their music on their own label called Kingdomrecords. The single release of the track the place is planned for the beginning of Januari.
