Ammos

In 1992 George Boussounis and George Ginis formed the band Ammos. Uptill now they have released two albums"Gefyra Proti" (First Bridge) (1998) and "Marmaro kai Petra" ( Marble and Stone) (2001) They have cooperated as song writers and producers with many famous greek artists such as Dimitra Galani, Tania Tsanaklidou, Mihalis Hatzigiannis, Lena Alkaiou, Nina Lotsari and many more. They have also participated in the latest lp of Alkisti Protopsalti "na se blepo na gelas" with two songs.Nowadays they have just released their third album with a renovated band and new singer Apostolina Mihailidou. The album is characterized by progressive rock sound ,emphasis in melody, powerful lyrics and good production, elements that are always found in their works.Alkistis Protopsalti has co-produced the album. She also sings two of the songs with her great voice. Costas Kalimeris has mixed the album, and Ted Jensen of Sterling Sound N.Y. has done the mastering.
