MySpace Generators Click Here for Free MySpace Layouts Hail and well met! My name is RJ Huggins and I am the writer and creator of SAGA "Dawn of the New Viking Age". SAGA seems like a natural progression for me as I have had a lifelong passion for Norse/viking history and lore. I was the lead singer of the viking heavy metal band RUNE(one of the first of it's kind)during the 80's. I later went on to further explore my viking heritage as Ld. Thorgrim Igorsson in the Society for Creative Anachronism for the past 19 years. Indeed some of the events portrayed in SAGA have their root and inspiration in the viking mischief my brothers and I have shared during our many adventures over the years.I also have a deep affinity for ancient Celtic, Roman, Greek, Egyptain history and lore as well as the Age of Piracy, medieval and renaissance periods. To this end I devote my remaining professional energies with the group of Great Plains Renaissance Festivals which I founded, co-own and operate.

My Interests

Viking History, Culture and Lore, Medieval Combat, Leatherworking, Girls, Event Promotions, Sharp Pointy Weapons and other Instuments of Destruction, Metal Music, Weightlifting, Southern Comfort, Helgi's Mead, Strategy Games, World Travel, World Conquest -lol. Too many interests to list here, but you get the idea - right?
