About Me

DJ Twist has been on the DJ circuit since 1999. Originally from Toronto, DJ Twist worked hard to become one of the elite Hip Hop DJ’s in the city.Under his belt he’s had success with everything from radio gigs to concert events to weekly residence’s, always collaborating with both underground up and comers to Hip Hop stars. He’s opened up for the likes of Jurassic 5, Royce 5’9, Blackalicious, Slum Village, Classified, Little Brother, Jill Scott, Swollen Members, K-OS and many more. His latest accolade was a category nomination in the 2007 Sony/Ericsson STYLUS DJ AWARDS, Canada’s only National Urban DJ Award show.Only being in Edmonton for a short time, DJ Twist is making his effort to be actively involved in Edmonton’s urban music scene. Twist is the name, Urban DNA is the Company!
