EYE PLUS EYE is one of the most unique artists to emerge from the vibrant music scene of Toronto, Canada. Born in the UK and raised in Nigeria, emcee/producer Eye + Eye approaches music from a universal perspective that is at once intriguing and refreshing. While some artists today are bent on carving out or occupying niches, Eye + Eye is more intent on exploring and mastering different production styles, rhyming patterns and song structures. He draws inspiration from a colorful mosaic of African culture that includes pioneers such as DJ Premier, A Tribe Called Quest and Fela Kuti and in turn he hopes his music is inspirational to anyone who takes the time to listen.
