Khiry Tafari(pronouced KhI-Ree Tuh-far-I) AKA Frank Talk AKA William the Red AKA Mr.T was born into the culture of Hip Hop and quickly fell in love with HipHops youngest child,the baby of the family:rap music.From the young age of 8, Khiry started writing songs either rhyming or singing for himself and performing at schools and community centres.As a teen he carved his craft by performing house parties and opening shows for groups and artist such as the Pharcyde,Rascals,Maestro,Peanuts&Corn,Soso,Kirby Dominent,Swollen Members(the list goes on) and alot of street battles.In this time period Khiry was rhyming with a chick he befriended in high school named Running Water(Now spelt Run_in_Watta).The 2 Outkast,ahead of there times started working and putting there ideas together and writing songs. With her Khiry developed his skills 4 arranging songs, incorporating melodys,harmonizing and bringing singing into the mix.In 1999 Khiry traveled out to Montreal for expreince where there he entered and won his biggest battle.Coming back to Edmonton in 2000 Khiry got back into the E-town scene and in 2002 Khiry Tafari become a member of Intricate Minds.At the time this crew was a basement group and with Khiry they became noticed by doing shows everywhere in E-town and getting the name Intricate Minds know throughout the city.With this group Khiry traveled western Cananda and open for alot of Canadas best.The highlght came in 2004 when Intricate Minds entered NAITS battle of the bands and became the 1st rap band to win and perform at Ookfest along side the likes of Finger Eleven, Social Code and Swollen Members.2005 was filled with alot shows and traveling for Intricate Minds and they put out their 1st ep called "Confiscated Thoughts" which was recieved with high praise in lyrical content,production and display of skills between the MC's,with Khiry leading the charge.!Now striking out on his own,Khiry has gone back to step forward with new solo material to unleash on the people!Now with his Solo career on the way,Khiry Tafari has hooked up with Edmonton rap/folk artist iD to form Locution Revolution.A high energy duo when seen Live, off the charts creativety,and the on stage carisma U will bare witness to the phrase "oppsites attract"!In full motion and two full time producers onboard:Bobby Girth and Curbside.With his 1st solo album entitled "Movements of Luv" 2 drop in 2008,Khiry Tafari is one of Canadas brightest up and coming artist to look out for!!!
