About Me

There were some old members and now there are some new members. This band is sponsored by the House of John Player.Megaw have been playing music for a few years. No-one is particularly daring enough to pin down the exact date when the original duo formed. We do know it was shortly after a meet-up of old friends that involved sitting in the rain at Hunter's Square, trying to look as unhomeless (or homeful) as possible.James and Andy started playing in an East Craigs living room to the backdrop of Paramount Comedy's very own Seinfeld. Shortly after this some recordings were done, thrown out and forgotten etc etc. A few years later they'd acquired a few more guitars and so took to the Cowgate gigging. At some point a glockenspiel became entwined in the sound and from this, many cold blistered hands have bled for music. We are rock and roll after all. Etienne Bartholomew a true friend and natural genius has recently joined as sitar player he is a true inspiration. lewis "whistling papa bear" Irvine also a close friend helps us out regularly with bass and harmonica which is divine.Anyway, listen to Megaw and if you see a Glockenspiel, kick it. Hard. Goodness knows who else will bleed, feeling the wrath of such a twee instrument. long live king bundy!
