Art is An Action of Observation and Freedom. We All Have it in Us. Some Just Express It.

About Me

My Gallery Page. Click the link below.
My name is Pat Guerre. I have been married to my wife Gina Marie since 1993. I raised 2 beautiful step children. My wife had a third child for her aunt and uncle who could not have children and I have been a part of her life as well and considered her new son's grandfather as well. We are all close and all of us have a love for the art's.I was born in 1963 in Burbank, California. I was competative as a child in that I swam, played baseball, football, basketball, and volleyball competativley as a child. I truly perferred swimming as it was a sport you could measure your individual achievement whether you won an event or not. I loved the arts and played a bit of piano and clairenet but was discouraged from pursuing anything in the arts as my great grandmother and her daughters were all artists and never made much of it. Incredibly, one of my greatest memories was the last time I saw my great grandmother who was blind. I was 7 and I was told to walk into her room and hold her hands. She was an amazing sculptor and she felt my hands with great care and identified me, and said "You are my grandson Pat and some day you will make great things with your hands." She died a few months later and to this day I can still feel her hands and hear her words. That changed my life but it took another 15 years before I started to make art. from 1995 to 1989 I amassed some fifty paintings and while mourning the death of my dear friends pet, unbenounced to me, my house burned to the ground and I lost everything. Many people asked how I felt about losing my art and all I could say was "Did you seeit? Did you enjoy it? Than I am happy I made it." I have since that time continued painting and have recently started shooting video and am working on a script for a short film.I also have discussed with my wife, and when I have the time am going to do a documentary on Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. My wife has been suffering from this chronic disease for many years now.I am opposed to war, bigotry, hatred, destruction of morallity, disrespect, corporate greed, unfair taxation, lack of basic human rights, consumerism, ignorance, lack of acceptance, propaganda, etc. etc.. You get the picture.I am one who believes we all have equal rights, should love everyone even if they have opposing views, should take care of the earth and each other, that all people want the best for the world and mostly, communication and acceptance amongst peoples is the only way to peace. We are trying to get all types of artists to this site to promote peace and acceptance of all humanity through the arts. We invite all artists of every media to join this site to show their solidarity of a peaceful world and properly taken care of planet. We hope to get enough artists from around the world, signed up, to be able to get funding as to have festivals world wide and show how the world can be. We again invite all artists, signed or unsigned, young and old, any background, to join this site. We also are asking that you spread the word to all your friends so they my join as well in this mission of happiness and acceptance. Please add yourself to the map. Thanks

LOVE AND HAPPINESS ARE SO CONTAGIOUS
Videos by vMix Member: PeaceOnEarth123We have no reason to mistrust our world, for it is not against us. If it has terrors, they are our own terrors. If it has precipices, they belong to us. If dangers are present, we must try to love them. And if we fashion our life according to that principle, which advises us to embrace that which is difficult, then that which appears to us to be the very strangest will become the most worthy of our trust, and the truest.-Rainer Marie Rilke-

"For one human being to love another is perhaps the most difficult task of all, the epitome, the ultimate test. It is that striving for which all other striving is merely preperation."- Rainer Maria Rilke -

Heroes:

"Call not that riches which may be lost; virtue is our true wealth, and the true reward of its possessor. It cannot be lost: it will not abandon us unless life itself first leaves us. As for property and material wealth, these you should ever hold in fear; full often they leave their possessor in ignominy, mocked at for having lost possession of them." Leonardo DaVinci
