My Background...
Firstly, my name is pronounced Lynneek... just to clarify. As much as I appreciate the different creative versions of the pronounciation of my name I'm beginning to get a little bit bored of them now. I was born on 23rd August 1985 and am of Jamaican and Nigerian heritage- so I am blessed to have the best of both worlds- braaaaaaaaap!!
My character...
I am ambitious, determined and most definately not afraid of hard work. My goal in life is to be the best in my field, which is why I hustle hard now. I aint stopping until I reach my goals and if people don't wanna open the door to me,I'll just have to kick it down!!!!
My passion is for music, radio, journalism and television. I also like to do a bit of modelling every now and again too (as you may have noticed, I am not really camera shy). I am outgoing and sociable and love chatting- my gums are forever rubbing together.
I am a radio presenter/ journalist/ singer/chatterbox. I am currently on Bounce fm 97.6 with my slow jam show "The Sultry Sessions" with my partner in crime Sefa- on Sat nights/ Sunday mornings 1am-3am. I am also a freelance journalist for Profyle magazine, Every Urban Thing (the website) and Flavour Magazine- please check out the Myspace pages. Since starting out, I have had the opportuinity to interview some of the most talented artists including Keyshia Cole, Jon B and The Konvict himself-Akon. I am not at all interested in getting caught up in the 9-5 routine as I find it completely boring and it jars me like crazy. God didn't bless me with so much talent for me to waste it in a mondane job. So big up all of those hustling everyday to make their dreams become reality.
Me on others...
I will treat you with the same amount of respect you treat me with. I don't give a damn how much money you earn or who you know- RESPECT ME and I will happily respect you back. We all came from the womb and we are all going to end up in the tomb, cuz we are ALL HUMAN. Please treat others as you would like to be treated in return. If you vex or offend me I will give you so much air you will feel the chill, but if you inspire or make me happy, you will get all my love- Lucky you.
