The Urban Shaman is of an authentic style, made up of creative individuals, with a social and artistic diverse background. Our musical definition can be explained as a culmination of African tradition such as; west, south, east African, Ancient mystic trance, Afro-Latin, Reggae, Spoken word, Blues, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock and Roll. With the use of word, sound, and power our music entrances the audience provoking dancing and sing-along as everyone is compelled to join and become apart of a continuance of tradition. Lost in modern day metropolitan, but not forgotten. We are the bridge between the old and new, enchanting messages of love and truth. The clever lyrics and song hymns reaching for a better understanding of harmony. Finally, a mixture of instrumentation percussion, bass and guitar providing Afro-Beat grooves for the streets, clubs, temples and ceremony.
