Crown & Coke is now more than just a great drink. The name can also be associated to a group of fine gentlemen who know how to have a good time both on stage and off. It all began when Mississauga natives Julian Robino and Kris Brudek had gotten together and began collaborating. The two soon realized that the songs they had composed had lots of potential and needed to be fulfilled with more members. The search was short. Julian and Kris quickly scooped up long time friends Seb Tirovolas and Randy Pardy. The band seemed to click instantly. They composed a tight set list and began searching for shows. Thanks to many kind promoters the band got offers to play dates throughout the greater Toronto area. However, there was one problem. They did not have a name yet. The band got together over some drinks and began to brainstorm. After countless ideas, Sebastian looked down at the bottle in front of him and shouted, “Crown & Coke?†Needless to say, it stuck. The band managed to impress the early witnesses. It wasn’t long before they started getting offers to play bigger gigs, more frequently. However, something was still missing. The band had always wanted a second guitarist to complete their roster but at the same time did not want to risk a disruption in chemistry. They waited and waited. More recently, long time friend and brother to Julian, James Robino became a free agent. The band discussed for 2.5 seconds and Crown & Coke was complete. The future looks marvelous. The band plans to release an EP in May of 2007 that will contain new songs. They will also be doing their debut tour of Canada with fellow bands Straight Goods and Deadlines in July and August of 2007.Crown & Coke is a band to be reckoned with. The combination of tasteful music, tender ages, and just a splash of talent seems to be a surefire recipe to success.WATCH OUR TRAILER!CHECK US OUT AT INDIE911!
