THE FULLBLAST RETROSPECTIVE MYSPACE PAGE! Hey everyone. As you may notice, things have changed a bit up in here. I've added some new photos, some music, and more fun stuff to the profile. Videos will be coming soon, as well as photoblogs as soon as I can amass enough photos. If you have some photos you'd like included, please send them to
[email protected] and I will include them when I have a chance.
Bri is home from Europe with A Wilhelm Scream, and is doing really well. Andy is on the road with Boys Night Out as we speak, and all indications is that that is going well too. Darran, Matt and I are kickin' around the suburbs, so if you see us around, come give us a hug. I will be on Warped Tour all summer helping out our dearest friends in Moneen, so if you're at one of the dates, come say whats up at the Moneen or Alexisonfire merch tent.
Thats about it for now. Feel free to leave happy/reminiscent comments! Take care and we hope to see you soon in one way or another.
Ian on behalf of the dead-blast.
VIDEOS! THE FULLBLAST EPK
This is an EPK (electronic press kit) meant to introduce the band to people that were not familiar with us. It was to be posted on the Mountain Dew Music website after we won the contest to go play at SXSW in 2005.

RIP THE FULLBLAST - 2000-2006 After 6 years, 5 releases, 9 members, 2 fill-ins, hundreds of thousands of kilometers and hopefully a few smiles, The Fullblast is done.
Essentially, our drummer Andy has decided to join our friends Boys Night Out as guitarist. We will spare everyone the details of how things have gone down, but suffice it to say that it surprised us all, and disappointed, we dont feel like the band can move forward without him. We have all agreed that The Fullblast is to be laid to rest.
We would like to extend our thanks to everyone that has helped us out over the years our families, our friends, our girlfriends (current or past), bands, our associates, and most importantly, the fans. There arent many bands keeping the dream of fast music alive anymore, and to those of you that continue to support punk rock, we thank you.
Our greatest hope is that weve inspired something in some of you. Musically, personally or whatever, we hope that we have touched you in some way in the last 6 years. We take great pride in the amount of hard work and passion weve devoted to this over the years, and we hope that our legacy is as a band that worked for any and all successes.
It seems almost ironic that this band was born out of a love for the band Lifetime their passion, their commitment to making a difference in punk rock. Just as theyre resurrecting themselves, The Blast is winding down.
JW youre always in our thoughts, and I really wish we could have hit it big for you. Youre one of our greatest inspirations, and we will take our relationship with you through life in whatever we do. We miss you big man.
Unfortunately, it seems like the circumstances surrounding this breakup will not give us the opportunity to have a last show. We really wish things could have ended in a different manner, allowing us to properly end something that weve worked so hard for.
There are no immediate plans for the rest of us in our musical careers, but you can bet that after working for 6 years, none of us are done playing in bands or being involved in the music scene. So keep an eye out for us, you never know where we might pop up.
Once again, thanks to everyone who has helped us out and supported us over the last 6 years. If youd like to leave some thoughts about the band, or whatever, wed encourage you to leave us a comment here.
Spring 2006 has come, and its brought a change. I know that things cant be the same.Love,
Ian, Darran, Brian and Matt -
The artists formerly known as The Fullblast.
