About Me

Hi!! I am a writer/actor/director from Queens, New York. In 2006, I won funding to direct my short film, LA CHIVA, from the Latino Lens Film Challenge sponsored by Mercury and the National Association of Latino Independent Producers (NALIP). I recently particpated in the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival’s All Access program with my Queer Romantic Comedy, HANNAH HENRI.Over the past 12 months, I have made a short film, been part of the Tribeca Film Festival, made my off off Broadway acting debut, and made my stand up comedy debut... so I guess you can say I like to keep busy!Oh, and I am a Lesbian, Mexican, American, daughter of a Marine, living in Queens NY with my life partner Joan, 3 cats and my 86 + yr old Mother in Law....
